How Does Hair Restoration Work?
As hair restoration treatments continue to evolve, there has been a shift toward effective, minimally invasive procedures from a time when surgical interventions were the only recourse in dealing with hair thinning or loss. Modern advances in dermatological technology have created two innovative and discreet methods that minimize discomfort and downtime. NuMe Aesthetics offers these groundbreaking, minimally invasive approaches with excellent results:
PRF injections: The procedure begins with a blood draw before placing it in a special machine that spins the blood at high speed to separate the platelets from the remainder of the blood components. Next, a local anesthetic is administered to your scalp, and the platelet-rich fibrin is introduced into parts of your head that are bald or thinning. Finally, microneedling is performed on the scalp to create micro-trauma and micro-channels to the epidermis, which triggers the PRF and allows it to seep deep into the skin. Our protocol for this nonsurgical management of hair loss involves maintenance treatments approximately every nine months to one year.
TED hair restoration: The TED system employs acoustic sound waves and air pressure instead. A handheld device gently glides over the scalp, amplifying blood circulation.
