Our cosmetic injectors will typically apply a numbing gel to the treatment area, if requested, once the skin is cleaned. The procedure takes about 15 – 20 minutes and includes multiple small injections targeting the submental area. Some clients may need one treatment to achieve their goal while other clients may need several injections spaced 3 – 4 weeks between each appointment at NuMe Aesthetics.

I love Nume Aesthetics! I see Dr. Fung and have got lower face/neck RF microneedling + full face/neck lasering done and love my results. I’m 34 and grew up playing water polo in Southern California so my sun damage is pretty bad. My face was looking tired and sun-spotted. The microneedling and lasering really made my skin look refreshed and rejuvenated! Dr. Fung is awesome through the whole process. I was experiencing some spiciness during one round of microneedling and he made sure to adapt the numbing agents to fit my needs. He’s also a little jokester! I’m going back soon for PRF. The office is in an unassuming business building but the people inside couldn’t be nicer. How much does KYBELLA cost?
The price of KYBELLA treatments depends on the number of sessions you need. During your initial consultation, a personalized plan will be made to fit your goals, and a member of our team can review the payments we accept.
How does KYBELLA work?
Deoxycholic acid, the active ingredient in KYBELLA, breaks down fat cells in the upper neck. After they are eliminated, these fat cells will not regenerate. Therefore, additional KYBELLA injections shouldn't be necessary once you have met your goal.
Can KYBELLA be used to treat other areas of the body?
Currently, KYBELLA can only be used to treat the upper neck and has been proven to effectively minimize the appearance of a double chin. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved it for any other areas of the face or body.
Am I eligible for a KYBELLA treatment?
There are a few factors that could make you ineligible to receive a KYBELLA treatment. You must be at least 18 years old, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you should not have an active infection at the treatment site. Before the process begins, you should share your medical history and health concerns so it can be determined if you can safely receive the treatment.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
