Dermal Fillers in Seattle, WA

Filler injections (or dermal fillers) are often utilized to replenish lost facial volume. Faces often lack volume for a variety of reasons, but age and significant weight loss are commonly to blame. This treatment works by injecting the liquid filler under the surface of the skin to fill in areas lacking volume or shape. Injectable fillers are an excellent, nonsurgical option for Seattle, WA individuals wanting to even out wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin in order to create a younger-looking face. There are many different types of fillers that may help meet the expectations and goals of each individual. To determine which injectable fillers are recommended for you, we encourage you to visit NuMe Aesthetics where our team can help you make this decision. We carry the following formulas:

JUVÉDERM® is a hyaluronic acid that can boost volume in areas of the face and fill in wrinkles, fine lines, folds, and the lips.

  • JUVÉDERM ULTRA™ XC, ULTRA PLUS™ XC, and VOLLURE™ XC are various fillers that treat medium to deep wrinkles throughout the face, like nasolabial folds/smile lines, marionette lines, tear troughs (under-eyes), and glabellar/frown lines, as well as adding volume to the lips. The results on average are visible for up to 9 – 12 months for Ultra XC and Ultra Plus XC, and about 12 – 18 months for Vollure XC.
  • JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA™ XC and ULTRA XC are commonly used to soften vertical lines of the upper lip and redefine and contour the border of the lips, as well as to enhance the volume of the upper or lower lip. The results typically are visible for up to nine months for Ultra XC and for 12 months for Volbella XC.
  • JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC augments the contour of the cheeks, temples, and chin to treat volume lost with age in the mid-face and lower face. The results are long-lasting, anywhere from 18 – 24 months.
  • JUVEDERM VOLUX™ XC is their newest and stoutest product exclusively approved by the FDA for definition and contouring of jawline and chin. The estimated duration is 24 months.

RADIESSE® and RADIESSE® (+) are dermal fillers with a calcium hydroxylapatite formula that smooths moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). RADIESSE is also used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.

Restylane® is another dermal filler product that contains the hyaluronic acid formula.

  • Restylane-L® for filling facial folds and wrinkles. Duration is anywhere between 6 – 9 months.
  • Restylane Refyne® and Restylane Defyne® for filling dynamic areas of animation, such as the nasolabial folds, the marionette lines, the chin, and the lips. Refyne product is designed to fill mild to moderate wrinkles whereas Defyne is designed to fill deeper wrinkles and folds. The estimated duration is 9 – 12 months.
  • Restylane Kysse® is used for lip volume enhancement. The estimated duration is 12 months.
  • Restylane Lyft® is a traditional filler that adds volume and lifts in the mid-face and is especially used on cheeks and hands. The estimated duration is 12 months.
  • Restylane Contour®, in our opinion, is a revolutionary filler product due to its versatility to provide filling, lifting, and contouring of multiple areas of the face, such as cheeks, temples, and chin. The estimated duration is 12 months.

RHA® Collection line of hyaluronic fillers addresses wrinkles and fine lines on the face and neck and reintroduces elasticity and youthfulness into your appearance.

Sculptra® Aesthetic is different from topical treatments and other facial fillers because it works with your body to help revitalize collagen production. This natural substance gives your skin resiliency, elasticity, and shape. As a poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator, Sculptra works with your body within the deep dermis rather than topically to help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. Results usually last as long as two years.

Prior to your dermal filler injections, our expert team will consult with you to learn more about your desired results and decide what product may best deliver them. At the time of the actual procedure, we will use topical numbing cream as an anesthetic to make the injections as pain-free as possible. Our cosmetic injection team will decide the amount of filler that is needed and will slowly and meticulously inject it via a very fine needle. Keeping the desired result in mind, either a portion or an entire syringe could be used during the procedure.

I came to see Dr Fung recently. He was thoughtfully analyzing my skin before his recommendations. I did skinvive and I love the result. He is very gentle and minimal bruising which I was pleased with. My skin looks glowy even without makeup. Highly recommend!

How much do injectable fillers cost?

Your cost for an injectable filler will vary depending on the brand used and how much is needed. During your consultation, a member of our cosmetic injector team will create a treatment plan that best matches your needs and wants. We will be able to provide you with an estimated cost, which will include any current specials we have.

How do I know which injectable filler is right for me?

The type of dermal filler used for your treatment will be based on the area being treated and your desired outcome. Depending on whether you would like to improve fine lines or want to create fuller lips, we will ask about your goals before suggesting the best filler for optimal results. Now that there are so many different dermal fillers, it can be challenging to identify which is ideal for your needs and goals, which is why our team works to ensure you get natural-looking results and a rejuvenated look.

What is the difference between wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers?

A wrinkle relaxer, such as BOTOX®, treats dynamic wrinkles (particularly on the forehead and near the eyes) by limiting the movement of facial muscles. Dermal fillers restore volume to fill in wrinkles, fine lines, and certain types of scars. They can also be used to add more volume to cheeks and lips and rejuvenate the hands.

How long will the results last?

The longevity of your results will depend on the type of filler used and the area treated. For some people, improvements may last as long as one year, whereas some patients may want another treatment after a couple of months. Touch-up injections can be scheduled at our office to sustain your improvements.

What areas of my face can be treated with dermal fillers?

Wrinkle fillers can address signs of aging in your face by either smoothing static lines or adding volume. Fillers can be used on marionettes, parentheses, and fine lines near your nose and mouth. They can also temporarily restore volume to your cheeks and lips.

If you are suffering from the side effects of aging but are intimidated by the thought of major surgery, then injectable fillers could be the answer you seek. Fillers create younger-looking, voluminous skin without major risks or downtime afterward. There are many different products available today that can help you reach the results you desire.
